Change is good.
We're like a muscle. We have to be ripped in order to grow.
Comfort zone, schmumfert zone.
So we moved.
But not to Alaska. Yeah, I've been trying to figure out a way to tell all seven of my followers that Alaska did not work out--for now...
We moved about three and a half hours north of where we used to live--to the "city".
We are renting for now but we will buy when we can find a place in the "country" where ever that may be.
But in the meantime, we are in a lovely 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath house. We have definitely upgraded from a 3 bed 2 bath 1300 square foot home. We have more roooooooooooommmm! There is much to be said about small spaces, and that "love grows best in small houses", but there is also a LOT to be said about more room! Don't get me wrong, we aren't in a mansion, but with 7 people in our family, 2500 feet compared to 1300 feels like a mansion.
So now that almost all of the kids have their own rooms, I am trying my darndest to make our home look like something out of magazine. *snort*
This is what I'm working on...
Just a little sneak peek of what I'll be posting about soon.
Until then, take care and enjoy your space. I'm going to... :)
So happy for you to have a bigger place! I can't wait to come down and see it!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for you to bring your tribe and come have fun in the "city" with us!!! Come soon! :)

DeleteYAY for getting settled in. cute quilt!
ReplyDeleteBecky, there are still boxes... and thank you! :)
DeleteGlad you and Brian found a landing place. Michelle and I lived in Clearfield for the first 10 years of our marriage. We liked the shopping in Layton.
ReplyDeleteBrian, we've lived in so many of the same areas. I doubt I'll ever live in OK though, so you're safe. :)
